Roast Beef Sandwich50's Prime Time Cafe, Hollywood Studios
12 slices of thin roast beef
4 slices Muenster Cheese
3 slices dark rye bread, toasted
3 tablespoons Thousand Island dressing
1 cup finely shredded lettuce
3 slices bacon, cooked until crisp
raw onion rings
dill pickle spear
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Spread six slices of roast beef on one side. Do the same with the other six. Top each pile of roast beef with two slices of Muenster Cheese. Place in oven and bake until meat is hot and cheese is melted.
Toast 3 slices of rye bread. Spread 1 tablespoon of Thousand Island dressing onto each piece of toast. Set aside. Remove meat from oven.
Place 1 piece of toast on a serving plate, dressing side up. Top with a layer of the roast beef and cheese. Spread half the lettuce over the cheese. Set another piece of toast on top. Add the second layer of beef and cheese and the rest of the lettuce. Top with the 3 slices of bacon. Finish off with the last piece of toast, dressing side down. Serve with tomato slices, raw onion rings and a dill pickle spear.
